Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern Your use of the Solstice Hair website located at solsticehairperth.com.au (Site) and form a binding agreement between You (You, Your) and MERAKI CAPELLI PTY LTD trading as Solstice Hair ABN 50 678 894 703 (Solstice Hair, We, Us).
By using this Site or making a booking, You confirm that You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If You do not agree, You must not use this Site or make a booking.

BOOKING POLICY
By making a booking with Solstice Hair, You agree to be bound by this Booking Policy and authorise Solstice Hair to charge Your nominated card in accordance with these Terms.

ARRIVAL
You must arrive at least 5 minutes prior to Your scheduled appointment time to ensure that Your service can run for its full duration. If You are running late, We reserve the right to shorten Your appointment to avoid impacting following clients. Full service fees will still apply.

BOOKING & PAYMENTS
A valid credit or debit card is required to secure all bookings. A 50% booking fee will be charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due at Your appointment.
The booking fee is non-refundable, except where required by law.
You authorise Solstice Hair to charge Your nominated card for any applicable cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show fees in accordance with this policy.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
You must provide a minimum of 72 hours’ notice if You wish to cancel or reschedule Your appointment. All requests must be made via text to Zoe at 0435 165 335. Messages will be recorded based on the time received.

If You provide at least 72 hours’ notice, Your booking fee can be transferred to a new appointment. Booking fees may only be transferred once. Rescheduled appointments are subject to availability and may not be accommodated within the same timeframe.

If You cancel or reschedule within 24–48 hours of Your appointment, an additional 25% of Your service total will be charged, bringing the total charged to 75% of Your booking.

If You cancel, reschedule on the day of Your appointment, or fail to attend Your appointment, the remaining 50% of Your service total will be charged, resulting in 100% of the booking being charged.

NON-PAYMENT OF FEES
If You fail to pay any cancellation or no-show fees, We reserve the right to refuse future services and may take further action to recover the outstanding amount, including engaging a third-party collection service where necessary.

APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATIONS
You will receive an SMS reminder 72 hours prior to Your appointment and an email reminder 24 hours prior. You are responsible for ensuring Your contact details are up to date and for confirming Your appointment where required.

SERVICES
You acknowledge that results may vary depending on Your hair history, condition, and aftercare. Solstice Hair does not guarantee specific outcomes.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding Your hair history, including previous colour, chemical treatments, and at-home products.

ETHICS POLICY
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. In genuine cases such as serious illness, injury, or emergencies, We may use Our discretion when applying cancellation fees.

The following are not considered valid reasons for waiving cancellation fees:
Forgetting appointments or failing to attend
Last-minute work schedule changes
Double bookings or poor time management
Running late and missing Your appointment
Mild illness that does not prevent attendance

We will always do Our best to accommodate changes where possible, however due to high demand, availability is limited.

PAYMENT POLICY
We accept EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and cash.
All services must be paid in full on the day of Your appointment. We do not offer accounts or delayed payment arrangements.
Failure to pay for services on the day may result in refusal of future services and recovery action for any outstanding amounts.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this Site, including text, images, logos, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Solstice Hair and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, Solstice Hair is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from Your use of the Site or services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes Your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify Solstice Hair against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from Your use of the Site or breach of these Terms.

PRICING
We reserve the right to change service pricing at any time without notice. Prices may vary depending on individual client needs and services provided.

TERMINATION
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access if You breach these Terms.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If a dispute arises, You agree to contact Us at hello@solsticehairperth.com.au to seek a resolution before taking further action.

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. You submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
