UNDERSTANDING HOW SOLSTICE HAIR WORKS

It’s the best place to get a feel for who I am, how I work, and whether I’m the right fit for you.

STEP TWO
Take a look through my service menu to get familiar with my packages, add-ons, & what each appointment includes.
This will help you choose the option that best suits you before moving on to booking.

STEP THREE
Once you’ve had a look through my services, you can book your preferred day and time online, or join the waitlist.
For colour and haircut appointments, select the Select For Me option that best matches.

Arrive at Solstice feeling relaxed and confident. I have chosen verything has been chosen with intention to create a space not like any other salon.

What to expect

Your experience begins as soon as you book your appointment online. If I require any additional information prior to your appointment, I will reach out via text. Once your booking has been submitted, I will review the details and confirm or adjust the appointment if needed.
You will receive an SMS confirmation 72 hours prior to your appointment and an email reminder 24 hours prior. Please ensure all forms attached to your confirmation are completed ahead of your visit.
A valid credit or debit card is required on file for all bookings. A 50% booking fee will be charged at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This booking fee is non-refundable.
Cancellations or rescheduling must be made with a minimum of 72 hours notice via text.
If you cancel or reschedule within 24-48 hours of your appointment, an additional 25% of your service total will be charged (75% total).
If you cancel, reschedule within 24 hours, or do not attend your appointment, the remaining 50% will be charged (100% total).This policy is in place to protect the time reserved specifically for you and to keep the business running sustainably.

The day of your appointment you will pull up to the cutest little salon this side of Perth! You know you will have the right place when you see the Maroon Building with the artwork on the front. Parking is FREE on Ferguson Street and next to the Italian Restaurant.
Please ring the doorbell for Solstice Hair 🌙 and I will invite you into the salon. You can relax in my space knowing, I thoroughly clean & disinfect between each of my clients, so the space is ready for you to settle in and make yourself at home.

The Consultation
Once you’re in salon we will sit down for a 15 minute consultation. Here we will discuss not only the details of your first visit, but we will also find a plan that will compliment your hair history, goals and lifestyle.
We'll talk about your hair dreams and worst nightmares, and take a look at some inspiration photos so I can get a clear idea of the things you love and don't love.
After I have a clear vision of our goal, I'll walk you through what's obtainable, our game plan for today and future services, the level of maintenance involved in the look you desire, and how to style and care for your new look at home.
Once we have come up with a plan and you feel comfortable with what we have decided on I will get started! I will ask you if you would like a drink - (I offer a full drinks menu! ASK ME ABOUT THE COCKTAIL OF THE MONTH!) and then I will get some colour mixed up so I can work my magic!

Don't worry about washing your hair before you come in, I don't mind a little natural oil and the shampoo is the best part!
All color services utilize the full Redken colour portfolio. These colours are designed to be long lasting, enhance shine, and improve the health of your hair all while respecting your hair & the environment. Your formula will be custom blended for you and recorded in my system so that it's always ready and waiting at each visit. I will work efficiently to respect your time, but I will never sacrifice the quality of my work by rushing on your hair.
I have Wi-Fi, water, tea, coffee, snacks, phone chargers, and more to keep you comfortable as your colour processes! Please feel free to bring a book, TV show, or work laptop with you. Your time in my chair is yours, so you never have to worry about how to spend your time with me! We can talk about ANYTHING YOU LIKE! Feel free to ask me for anything, nothing is TMI for me! I’m only scared of butterfly’s, moths, birds, and roaches… pretty much anything that can fly at me😩
You can also request a silent visit. For days you’re overstimulated, Aunt Flo has come for her monthly visit or your kids/ partner/ situationship are driving you to alcoholism or Graylands - I got you and I don’t judge.. Fill out the form that comes with your reminder text or reply back ‘Silent visit’ 🤐

We will finish our service by styling, and of course, the mini photoshoot if we have discussed this during consultation. You are of course under no obligation to have your photo taken! This is when we get some killer shots of your beautiful hair all styled and ready for a night out… or a night at home 🤣 I will also recommend at-home styling care to recreate and maintain your look at home, and we will set you up for your next appointment.
